I hope and pray that someone in the Bush administration gets George to go quietly to the end of this term. Unfortunately he has about 6 more months to get us mired in some ridiculous situation in Iran.
The Iranian government is run by clerics and the largely powerless President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The clerics don't much like Ahmadinejad's rhetoric either. They do however have the same dislike for the west (read us.)
Still, with U.S. troops now taking Prozac to cope in Iraq, the foe in Iraq being faceless non-Iraqis, and all the other nuttiness over there, we need to stay away from Iran. Let the EU put the pressure on Iran with the U.S. being in the background.
It is totally unreasonble to think that we can fight in Iran.
