Here is a chart of recent gas prices from various places around the world. I found conflicting information in other publications but they were all indicating the same thing - GAS IS EXPENSIVE! (Click on the chart to expand.)
As Americans we should be very concerned about being held hostage by the oil producing countries. As American Nationalists we need to become more dependent on wind, solar, natural gas and less dependent on oil. If not, $4 per gallon is just the beginning. One report had gas in Turkey at $11 per gallon. Ouch. Notice the bottom 6 or 7 country's gas prices. Venezuela, whose President refers to us as "American Pigs" is apparently subsidizing his citizen's gas with money from us.
Write your congressman, your senator, the next President, whoever, and tell them to move along our national energy policy to be inclusive of alternative fuels and conservation. It is the only reasonable thing to do.
